Lactation Pain Management: Symptoms, Causes, and Solutions

This one-day virtual seminar will help participants be better able to support clients who are experiencing and struggling with breastfeeding. The latest research will be shared through presentations, discussions, and activities. Participants will leave the seminar with the skills to help identify possible causes of pain based upon symptoms and an expanded toolbox of potential ways to help. How to make appropriate referrals will be a major point of discussion since many pain problems are out of the scope of WIC staff.

Michigan Peers: This OA Grant Training meets the 2026 Annual Peer Counselor Training Requirement.
